But more importantly… The real reason why it is so popular is because it is over 300 years old and dates all the way back to 1706. Many fans has the United Kingdom to thank for really bringing the Aladdin story to life in a very much dramatic way, so much so that the story was used in pantomines and continues to be used on this very day.
The story of Aladdin was the most popular from the exceptionally famous book of one thousands and one nights. Which contains multple middle eastern stories, although some of the stories have been added by Europeans such as Aladdin’s Lamp, Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves. Galland was responsible for the translation and change of the book which made the novel immensly popular in Europe.

I bought an Aladdin costume for a halloween party last year and I can thankfully say that it is still in prestige condition and I’ve worn it to many other fancy dress type parties throughout the year.
